U15 AA JR GREYHOUNDS (Lortie), U15, 2021-2022 (Sault Major Hockey)

By Matt W. Game 1 vs Copper Cliff Reds. The Hounds would come out flying from the drop of the puck in this game taking the play to Copper Cliff right away, 2 early strikes by Logan Dearing would see the Soo up 2-0 10 mins in. Caleb Walker would extend the lead on an unassisted effort to see the Hounds up 3-1. Copper Cliff would fight back and pot one before periods end to cut the lead to 3-1 at the intermission. 

Playoff weekend  by Matt W Game 1 vs Timmins North Stars would start well for the Hounds. The Soo would dictate the play for the first 8 mins of the period and find themselves ahead as Logan Dearing would strike for the Hounds. 

By M. Walker Game one would be a game in which was ALL Hounds from the drop of the puck! The Hounds would come out flying and strike early and often with Carter Huckson recording a natural Hat trick in the opening frame. The onslaught would continue into the second and third periods as multiple Hounds players would get onto the scoresheet. Copper Cliff would manage only a couple goals in the affair. Singles by Greene, Walker, Caruso, Kurylo, Vommaro, Gioia, along with 2 more by Huckson would find the Soo walking away with a 11-2 victory.        

Submitted by M. Walker The 15U AA Jr Hounds recently completed a 6 game series with Sudbury and in the process came away with all 6 wins. Away in Sudbury in series that got very feisty at times, the Soo Jr Hounds would battle through and manage to fend off a physical Sudbury game plan. 

Submitted by Matt W. Game 1 started physical and feisty as North Bay came out hitting from the drop of the first puck. The Hounds would find themselves on their heels early but penalty trouble would see the Trappers head to the box several times. On the PP, the Hounds would capitalize on a rebound by Sam Caruso and take a 1-0 lead midway through the frame.
