The 15U AA Jr Hounds recently completed a 6 game series with Sudbury and in the process came away with all 6 wins. Away in Sudbury in series that got very feisty at times, the Soo Jr Hounds would battle through and manage to fend off a physical Sudbury game plan.
Penalties would play a large factor in most games but eventually both teams would settle in and stick to hockey. In the weekend series in Sudbury, The Hounds would see themselves victorious coming home with 6-1 , 6-2 and 3-2 wins. Combined with a strong defensive effort, Multiple scorers would contribute to the scoresheet for the Soo. In the recent Weekend Series played in Sault Ste Marie, the two teams would once again see themselves playing some physical, feisty hockey. Penalties would once again mount up on both sides but the Jr Hounds would again play through and focus on hockey to come away with 7-3, 5-1 and 5-1 victories. Players to have Multi goal efforts in different games in pacing the Greyhounds attack would be Logan Dearing, Ethan Agawa and Caleb Walker. Multiple players would also add to the balanced team offence. Strong netminding was key at times in this series and helped secure the teams successes. Jr Hounds are now off to Copper Cliff this coming weekend for a 3 game set vs the Reds.
