PEEWEE MINOR AAA SOO JR.GREYHOUNDS, U13, 2018-19 (Sault Major Hockey)

This group of hard working, speedy 11 years olds had one goal in mind this year, to be crowned the NOHA Champions. After going undefeated in the regular season and playoffs in 2017-2018 and continued winning right until their first loss which was in the NOHA Semi Final game last year, the team was determined for that not to happen again this year.

As we all know, hockey is a sport that at some point will come to an end for these boys, but the young men they are becoming will last their life time. The coaching staff has made it their mission to teach these boys skills on and off the ice and more importantly how to become caring citizens in our community.

After another weekend sweep against the Sudbury Jr Wolves, the ’07 AAA Hounds clinched first place in the Peewee Minor AAA Division. The Jr hounds only have 3 more league games remaining to their regular season but with a 19-1-5 record, no other team will be able to knock the fast pace Hounds out of the top seed going into the playoffs.

The 2007 AAA Soo Jr Greyhounds are leading the way in the NOHL AAA Peewee Minor division for the third consecutive month with a 16-1-5 record. The Jr Hounds return home this weekend for a 3 game set against the Sudbury Jr Wolves after going 2-0-1 to close out their series verses Nickel City Sons in Sudbury last weekend.

It is hard to believe that the regular season is already 2/3rds over and there are only 9 more games remaining in the 2007 Soo Jr Greyhounds regular season. The Jr Hounds completed their regular season set with North Bay Trappers this past weekend in North Bay. The Hounds finally got the upper hand and outscored North Bay by a 17- 8 margin and walked away from the Gateway City with a 2-0-1 record.
