BANTAM AA SOO GREYHOUNDS, U15, 2018-19 (Sault Major Hockey)

The Soo Bantam Greyhounds are off to Sudbury this weekend to take part in the Silver Sticks Regionals.  The first game for the Hounds is Thursday night at 9:40 pm against the Timmins North Stars.  Game two has the Hounds facing Toronto York Mills at 9:40 am Friday morning.  Game three is scheduled for Saturday at 2:55 pm against the Nickel City Sons. All games are at the Countryside Arena.

The Soo Bantam Greyhounds took part in the CCM World Invite Tournament in Sarnia Ontario this past weekend and had a great showing.  In their first game the Hounds tied the Glenview Stars 3-3 in a hard fought game. In game two the Bantam Hounds recorded a 6-2 win over Orland Park Vikings, followed by a 6-3 win over the Geneva Cyclones.  In the tournament semi finals the Hounds faced the Orland Park Vikings once again and needed double overtime to beat the Illinois team 5-4 .  This set the stage for the Bantam Hounds to meet the top rated team in the tournament the Milton Winterhawks.  After a ...

On Monday October 8 the Soo Greyhound Bantams defeated the Soo Lakers 5-4.  The game was an exciting affair and went back and forth all game. Scoring for the Bantam Hounds was Samuel Lake with the hat trick and Dylan Ritchie with 2 goals. Terry See got the win in goal and made some key saves throughout.

On Monday October 1 the Soo Greyhound Bantams defeated the Soo Lakers 5-3 at the Pullar Stadium.  The boys were well deserving of the victory and look forward to the rematch next Monday evening at 7pm against the Lakers.

Congratulations to all players of this years 2018-2019 Soo Greyhound AA Bantams. The coaching staff and management are looking forward to a great season of hockey and development of the boys. Each and everyone of you players should be proud of your accomplishment thus far and excited for the regular season to begin.
