Bantam Hounds defeated in CCM World Invite Championship Game
The Soo Bantam Greyhounds took part in the CCM World Invite Tournament in Sarnia Ontario this past weekend and had a great showing. In their first game the Hounds tied the Glenview Stars 3-3 in a hard fought game. In game two the Bantam Hounds recorded a 6-2 win over Orland Park Vikings, followed by a 6-3 win over the Geneva Cyclones. In the tournament semi finals the Hounds faced the Orland Park Vikings once again and needed double overtime to beat the Illinois team 5-4 . This set the stage for the Bantam Hounds to meet the top rated team in the tournament the Milton Winterhawks. After a slow start the Hounds lost 7-1 in the tournament Championship Final game, but had a very successful weekend and should be proud of their accomplishment. Great job boys !!!
