With only 1 practice remaining before the weekend, The Phi Dental Care Soo Jr Greyhounds will start to gear up the intensity and put the final
touches to their offensive and defensive systems for their road trip up north for the NOHA Tournament of Champions.
The team will travelling up Highway 144 to Timmins Ontario in hopes of bringing home the NOHA Championship and being named the top Atom Major AA team in Northern Ontario. This will earn them the right to play in the All Ontario Championship in North Bay next month. They will be in tough as they will be playing some strong competition but the boys are up for the challenge.
The 2007 Soo Jr. Greyhounds have been preparing for this upcoming weekend since their loss to West Ferris last March in the NOHA Finals. Throughout this season, they have worked extremely hard and now have acquired the tools to outperform their competition and prove that the Phi Dental Care 2007 Soo Jr Greyhounds are the top team in the North. They will be battling: Timmins North Stars, Copper Cliff Redmen, Sudbury Jr Wolves, Nickle City Son’s, and West Ferris Trappers for the NOHA Title. It is now up to boys in red to take what they have learned and execute to the best of their abilities this weekend.
