U16 AA Soo Jr. Greyhounds, U18 (Sault Major Hockey)

Thank you to all the goalies for coming out for the goaltender evaluation last night.  The coaching staff had a tough decision to make, as all the goaltenders brought their best. The coaching staff would like to thank everyone who came out to the tryouts for the U16AA Greyhounds team.  There was a lot of skill and determination on display, and there were some really tough decisions that had to be made while selecting this team.  For the ones not selected, keep up the hard work.  It really did show out there. For goaltender selection, due to some late registrations, goaltenders will be chosen at a later date this week.  An update will follow shortly.

The coaching staff of the U16AA are looking forward to seeing all the talent and skill on the ice in the upcoming week of tryouts.  We are excited for the upcoming season, and the opportunity for the U16AA players to further develop their hockey skills.  With the talent and skill available, we could have a team that can compete with any AA team in Ontario.  On that note, we are also excited to announce that this year there is an OHF Championship for the U16 age group.  This has not been the case in the past, and is another motivating opportunity for this group of players to work towards an ...
