ALLIANCE GAMES – WEEKENDS #1 & #2
ALLIANCE WEEKEND #1 – OCT 5-6

The first weekend of October, the U13AAA Greyhounds attended their inaugural weekend series of games against Alliance teams.

The first matchup was against Kitchner. The Hounds were successful with a 6-1 victory. The next matchup was scheduled against Waterloo. Unfortunately, no referees were booked and the game had to be rescheduled to the November 22-24 weekend.

The next game was against a tough Brantford team early Sunday morning.  The Hounds were successful with a 5-4 victory after being up 2-0 and 4-2.  The final game of the weekend was against a scrappy Cambridge team.  The Hounds came out on top with a 4-1 victory.

ALLIANCE WEEKEND #2 – NOV 22-24

The second Alliance weekend brought the Hounds down to the Windsor area.

Friday night action started with a game against the Sun County Panthers.  The Hounds came out hungry and played a great game that ended up with a 7-0 win.

Saturday started with a visit to the Windsor Spitfire facilities.

The first game on Saturday was the rescheduled game against the Waterloo Wolves.  This a back-and-forth game that ended with a 3-2 victory for the Hounds.  The second game was against Windsor Jr Spitfires.  The Hounds were again victorious against Windsor with a 5-2 win.

The final game of the weekend was against a highly ranked and highly skilled Chatham-Kent Cyclones.  Both teams came out and competed extremely well.  The Hounds held a 1-0 lead until late into the 3rd period when the Cyclones scored 2 goals in the last 3 minutes of the game, ending with a 2-1 lose for the Hounds.
