SOO JR. GREYHOUNDS AAA CHAMPIONS

Sault Major had 5 teams competing in League Championships last weekend with all 5 teams participating in the championship games.  Of those teams, 4 brought home the championships. 




Playoff Champions include our U18AAA, U14AAA, U13AAA and U12AAA Soo Jr. Greyhound teams.

  • The U18AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds won a hard fought battle against the Nickel City Capitals and brought home the win in overtime with 33 seconds left.  They will now be heading to the OHF’s in Toronto being held    April 4 – 10, 2022

  • The U14AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds were undefeated in their round robins and finished the playoffs with a resounding win, after completing a very successful season of 22(W)-2(L).

  • The U13AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds had close games in the round robin finishing with 3(W) and 1(L) and brought home the win in overtime against the North Bay Trappers.  They will be heading to the OHF’s being held April 11 – 15, 2022.

  • The U12AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds were undefeated in their respective round robins and finished the playoffs with a resounding wins, as well as going undefeated in the regular season

  • The U15AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds had a heartbreaking loss in their championship finals after going undefeated in their round robin games.  They had a very successful season with 16W-2L-2T-1OTL finishing at the top of their division, and should be very proud of all their accomplishments.
