Registration & Tryout information update
Submitted By Mike Creedon on Monday, July 26, 2021
Registration modules from Hockey Canada have been updated and SMHA is working at learning the newest versions so we can open registrations soon.

The OHF has mandated tryout dates which SMHA will follow, the earliest any tryout can be is Sept 10th.  A departure from the spring and August tryouts everyone's accustomed to.  More updates will be forthcoming but we know that September 10th is the 1st date of any AAA tryouts, some are later.

Along with SMHA registrations, we will be offering U11 (both U10 & U11) development sessions for all level of players within those ages.  They will be optional, with a separate registration & cost to participate.  SMHA is also planning U14/U15 Development sessions including some concentration on Body checking; again optional with a separate registration and cost.  Check back for details

We appreciate everyone's patience as SMHA executive prepares to return with APH and OHF approval.

Thanks
SMHA Executive
