A Reminder of the Covid Protocols
Submitted By Mike Creedon on Tuesday, September 22, 2020
All of the city, and area arenas have developed protocol that everyone must follow.  In most cases there is signage to identify the expectations, but here is a reminder of the rules for all to see.

You Must wear masks entering and leaving the arena.
Stay Socially distanced whenever possible, especially spectators.
You must not arrive more then 20 minutes prior to your scheduled icetime.
Players are only allowed to participate within their Pods. (players skating with Junior clubs are exempted)
You must leave 15 minutes after your ice ends
Use appropriate entrance based on time of day wherever applicable (Rankin arena has seperate entrances based on icetimes to promote social distancing).
When your sick, stay home and follow APH guidance when applicable.
Notify your team Covid person if your sick or test positive for Covid.
Some arena doors are locked in order to control pedestrian traffic flow, don't prop them open for any reason, without arena staff permission.
Only 1 spectator/ player is allowed in the building.
Each player will need to submit liability waivers to their coaches.  These Liability waivers will be emailed to the players in the coming days.  You will need 1 waiver for the Rankin arena, and 1 waiver for the city facilities.

Please follow these rules, so we keep everyone safely returning to play.  Safety has to be paramount and arena rules followed or we will loose the use of facilities.

Thanks
SMHA Executive
