SAULT MAJOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION AGM - SET FOR SEPTEMBER 24TH, News (Sault Major Hockey)

After being put on hold all these months, we have now scheduled the AGM for Sept 24th, 2020 beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will be hosted virtually using Zoom.

Sault Major is currently accepting registration for the AGM.  Given the different format, we are seeking your support to provide the names of the individuals who will be registering/participating in the AGM in advance as only registered individuals will have access to vote. These include the following:

a)    Board members

b)    1 representative from each of the 2019-20 teams

c)    Parent members who have previously registered - these are parents/guardians who have previously registered to vote and paid the $5.00 membership.

d)    Sault Major lifetime members (Merit Scroll members)

We require the names and email address for all individuals who are registering for the meeting. Please send an email to [email protected] to register for the AGM.

During the AGM we will hold the elections of the board to fill all open positions.  There are many positions available this year, so anyone wanting to help is welcome.  Nominations for positions are due by Sept 10^th.  Nomination forms must be filled out and sent to Roxanne Boudreau at [email protected].

Nominations from the floor will only be accepted if no nominations for the position have been received by September 10^th. 

Also during the AGM, will be discussions and voting on proposed amendments to the constitution.

The Financial statements will be presented, as well as all other normal AGM business.
This is open to anyone interested, but only registered members will have a vote.
