50/50 VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES, News (Sault Major Hockey)

• When a team is assigned the 50/50, they will be told how many volunteers are required from the team. Most games it is around 5 volunteers. The team assigned will be given tickets to attend the Greyhound game that date.

• 50/50 volunteers must be 18 years of age.

• Volunteers should arrive 1hr & 45 mins before game time.

• Volunteers do not need a ticket.

• Volunteers should enter thru main entrance beside box office, check their name off the list with security, and then check in with 50/50 table to the right after you’ve entered for instructions as to whether they will be meeting there or at SMHA office on lower level.

• Volunteers will have a secure place to keep valuables.

• Volunteers will be finished about ½ way thru the 3rd period.

•  Previous experience is not necessary as SMHA will give them instructions on handling sales etc... It is as easy as using a cell phone.

All monies raised, are shared across Sault Major by paying some ice bills therefore keeping the cost of registration lower than if we didn’t have the draw
