UPDATE - parent registration form now working
By resolution of the board, Sault Major Hockey Association and Soo PeeWee Hockey Association will be holding joint Special General Meetings (SGMs) on Monday March 31, 2025 starting at 6:30pm.
Location: Grand Gardens Downtown (68 Dennis Street)
The purpose of the joint SGMs is to vote on the following:
1. The transition of administrative and managerial responsibilities for U15 and U18 house league and "A" carded teams from SMHA to SPWHL.
As per the SMHA Constitution, this notice is being posted 30 days in advance of the scheduled SGM. Emails are also being sent to all parents and coaches providing notice of the SGM.
Deadlines for the SGM are as follows:

**The proposed amendments will be made available to everyone registered to vote, by Monday, March 16th 2025.
PARENT MEMBERSHIPS:
Parents, for the March 31, 2025 SGM, please register by March 16, 2025 but DO NOT SEND PAYMENT. As per the current Constitution, only members who registered by November 1, 2024 and paid $5 are permitted to vote. HOWEVER, A Constitutional Amendment will be presented at this SGM to update the Constitution to allow parents to vote who registered by 15 days prior to the General Meeting, and also to waive the $5 fee. If the motion passes, those who registered as per the updated Constitution will be permitted to vote.
Includes all parents and/or legal guardians of registered players who have paid their registration fees in full and are in good standing where the registered player is under the age of eighteen (18) years
Each parent of a registered player shall be entitled to one (1) vote per player registered with a maximum total of two (2) votes per family.
