There is a new process the OHF has launched to register 3rd Party Instructors.
Our 3rd party providers are required to have each of their instructors complete this registration before they can apply or propose any programming.
Examples of programming that was delivered through 3rd party instructors over the past year would be Prep Skates and Body Contact Clinics. Examples of other potential 3rd party instructor programming could be things like goalie clinics or powerskating sessions.
Part of the 3rd Party Instructor qualification includes applying for a Vulnerable Sector check through your local police service. Please note this process can sometimes take months to complete, so begin the application early.
