INCREASE IN GAME LENGTH FOR U15HL and U18 HL DIVISIONS
Since the beginning of the season there has been a fair amount of discussion regarding the game length in our U15HL and U18HL divisions. We had based our decision to go the 1 hour game format based on recommendations from the previous year, however we have come to the realization that this format was not working and that parents, players and coaches were not happy.
We realize that kids, especially in these divisions just want to have fun and play hockey and this shorter game length was impacting their ability to do either. With this in mind starting in the new year we will be increasing the game lengths back to the 1 1/2 hour time blocks.
Please make sure to check your schedules and monitor the website for any changes in the Jan-March schedule.
