The U16AA Jr Hounds really pulled together as a team in January with a solid showing at the Glen Bellerby tournament in Barrie making it to the semis. League play was also outstanding with four wins and a tie bringing the team to a 17-5-3 league record--with almost all games played with a short bench. The boys are enjoying a couple of weekends off as they prepare for the last two rounds of league games and the playoffs scheduled for March 3-5.
The team heads to Sturgeon Falls and Powassan February 11-12 for league games against West Nipissing U18A and Powassan U18A, and then they close out the season with the last round of league games against the Nickel City U16AA Jr Sons.
Playoffs will be held in Sudbury March 3-5.
