CCM Motown Tournament Recap
WEEKEND RECAP – U12 AAA SOO JUNIOR GREYHOUNDS

The U12AAA Jr. Greyhounds took to the ice in Detroit, Michigan this past weekend to take part in the CCM Motown Classic featuring some of the top teams in North America.
Game one the Hounds battled hard against a tough Florida Alliance team but found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-1 score when the final buzzer sounded.
Game two saw the Hounds face the Milwaukee Admirals. The Hounds would jump out to an early 2-0 lead in this one but then found themselves in penalty trouble, having to play short-handed for much of the final two periods. The Admirals were able to battle back with several power play goals and took this one 5-2.
In the third game the Hounds took on a strong Oakville Rangers team. Despite being short handed numerous times once again the Hounds battled to a 3-3 draw. Ben Clayton had a solid performance in net for the Hounds.
In the fourth and final game of the weekend our boys took on one of the hometown teams Belle Tire. Hounds were able to control much of the play in this one and ended the tournament on a high note with a 4-2 victory. Carter Rome recorded the win in net while Tommy Ubaldi was awarded the Hardest Worker of the Game.
This weekend join us live as the U12AAA Junior Hounds are in regular season action against the North Bay Trappers. Game times are Saturday 1:30pm at the John Rhodes and Sunday 9am at the GFL Memorial Gardens.
