The U11 AA Soo Junior Greyhounds would like to take a moment
to acknowledge all our sponsors. Our
individual player jersey sponsors are recognized on the back of each player’s
jersey and on this website in a few different locations; scrolling through the logos
on the home page, accessible via the sponsor’s link on the team menu, as well
as through each individual player link within the team roster. We also display each sponsor logo during our
live stream of our games. Please support
these businesses whenever possible, in appreciation of their support for us!
In addition to player sponsorships, we would like to further highlight two of our sponsors. The first is GFL Environmental Inc., whose generous team sponsorship is helping to cover the costs of player warm up pants and jackets, ball caps, winter coats, and hockey bags. The players are looking like a team wherever they go, and we all know that feeling like you are a team goes a long way to playing like you are a team. A big thanks to GFL!
Our second team sponsor we would like to recognize is Rome’s Your Independent Grocer. The U11s teamed up with Rome’s Your Independent Grocer to sell gift cards as a fundraiser. This is always a favourite amongst parents and purchasers because it is like prepaying for groceries. These also make great thank-you gifts, as well as stocking stuffers for Christmas - they can be used to purchase anything in store! This fundraiser successfully raised enough to offset over 10% of our costs for the season. Some of these costs include tournament registration, extra ice time, power skating and goalie coaching.
