U13 AA Soo Jr. Greyhounds Continue to Make Their Presence Known
Over the past few weeks, the U13 AA Soo Jr. Greyhounds have
been busy proving to the hockey world that they are a force to be reckoned with…and
they’re not done yet.
On March 25th, this talented group headed to their NOHA Championships in Timmins. They battled hard and finished the 6-game weekend undefeated, earning the title of 2022 U13 AA NOHA Champions, and punching their ticket to the 2022 OHF Championships.
But, before turning their attention to the OHF’s, the U13 AA Jr Hounds had one more goal they wanted to achieve this season; make their mark on Southern Ontario. They got that opportunity last weekend when they travelled south to compete in Richmond Hill’s Mary Parkinson Memorial AA Tournament. This mighty team from the North made their presence known. They worked beautifully as a team to finish another 6-game weekend undefeated. Not only did they earn the title of tournament champions, but they made it known that they are a team capable of competing across the province…and they’re not done yet.
Next on the agenda; the 2022 OHF Championships (April 22-24) where the U13 AA Soo Jr. Greyhounds will take on the host team (Copper Cliff Reds of the NOHA) as well as the U13 AA champions from the OMHA (Aurora Tigers), GTHL (Mississauga Beast) and Alliance (London Jr. Knights White).
