Congratulations U15AAA Jr. Hounds
The U15 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds wrapped up play in Sudbury, securing their first place finish in the regular season. Saturday afternoon saw the Hounds beat the Nickel City Sons with a score of 6 - 2 and Sunday the Jr. Hounds suffered their first over time loss of the season, with a final score of 5-4 for the Sons.
The Jr. Hounds finished the season with 16W-2L-2T-1OTL finishing at the top of their division. Also finishing at the top was Hudson Chitaroni who led the league in points with 39 pts in 21 games. Honourable mention goes to Brendan Cooke, Rylie Carter and Declan Gallivan all finishing in the top 10 point getters in the league. The Soo Jr. Greyhounds had a lot of help between the pipes this year with top goalie's Carter Nadon (2.26GAAA) and Nick Marson (3.14GAA) finishing 1 and 2, respectively.
Next weekend the Soo Jr. Greyhounds return to Sudbury for Playoff weekend and hope to gain a chance at representing the North at this years All Ontario's in mid-April. Good Luck Boys!!
