With only 3 games remaining
in the regular season, the 2007 Soo Jr Greyhounds have already clinched first place
in the NOHLAAA. They will end their season sitting at the top spot for the third
consecutive year in the northern loop. This is a great accomplishment for these
young men who put in the hours and have worked so hard to make this happen.
With the final weekend upon us, the boys will have to come out firing on all cylinders against the visiting Sudbury Jr Wolves, who are fighting with North Bay and Nickel City in the standings. All 3 teams are in the thick of things when it comes to the standing as there is only a 6 point difference between 2nd and 4th place teams. The forth place team will play the Jr Hounds in the first round of the playoffs starting next weekend here in the Soo.
It is imperative that the team does not take the Jr Wolves lightly as Sudbury will be playing with confidence this weekend after Jr Wolves accomplished a tied with Jr Hounds in their last meeting.
Come out and support the Red and White this Saturday and Sunday. It will be a fun fast affair that you will not want to miss.
