As some provinces and many countries are starting to plan for the reduction of restrictions regarding Covid19, we take it as a positive sign and are planning for a return to play/practicing in July, unless we hear otherwise.
It is our intention to use our summer ice skates to let everyone get their skating legs back before tryouts. Currently e expect our summer ice to be Thursdays 4-6pm. We intend to have a dedicated power skating instructor run some of the 4-5pm's with hockey development from 5-6. Tryouts themselves will probably be over a weekend and only after players have had a number of weeks to get back into things. Once we have a confirmed return date, we will be in touch with everyone on our list.
Until then, players should be hard at work improving their strength and conditioning in preparations for a busy season, and tight selection process.
