Bantam Major AAA Hounds win Belle Tire Classic Tournament
This past weekend the Soo Bantam Major AAA Greyhounds were firing on all cylinders and won the Belle Tire AAA Mid Winter Classic Tournament in Detroit Michigan. The Bantam Hounds defeated Lansing Meijer AAA 4-2, Indy Jr. Fuel 6-1 and the Cleveland Barons 4-2 in the round robin portion. In the Quarter finals they defeated the Sylvania North Stars 5-3, before defeating Fox Motors 4-1 in the Semi finals. That set the stage for a showdown in the Championship final against the Phoenix Arizona Coyotes. The Bantam Hounds won 3-0 in a very entertaining game and brought home a well deserved Championship. Congratulations to all players, staff and parents for a great weekend of hockey and a AAA Championship title. Great job boys !!
