Elgie Builders/Fisher Wavy Jr Hounds take Silver
The peewee Minor AA Greyhounds closed out their season this weekend with a silver medal in the Nickel District Hockey League playoffs. The Hounds tied once and won 2 games to earn a berth in the finals in the Peewee II division against a peewee Major team from Sudbury. The Woo jumped out to a 2 -0 lead and played strong all game but the wolves didn't quit and chipped away at the lead to tie it And take the lead in the 3rd. The Hounds had several chances to tie the game only to be denied.
An empty netter in the final minute ended the game. Members of the Jr Hounds included Spencer Headrick, Rowan Wyslocky, Caden Johnston, Braden Luzzi, Cole Cond, Parker Rushton, Wyatt LeBlanc, Kylie Schryer, Kye Taylor, Nathan Whitely, Landon Jones, Maiana Boissoneau, Gabe Palumbo, Tyler Smokowich, Kaden Roy, Sara Boston and Kylan Roy.
